Just a rather short update today. We originally planned to just spend a couple of days in Perth, but we got stuck. First, Meike had to get her laptop repaired in Perth, which took a bit longer than expected.
And when it was finally ready after 2 weeks, we all got Covid. It hit us quite bad, so we spent a couple of days without leaving our campsite at all.
At least we enjoyed our time here. We caught up with our friend Anne and her kids who recently moved to Perth from Melbourne. We also did a day trip to Rottnest Island, were little Quokkas roam the streets and live off tourists food leftovers.
Other than that, it was mostly a technical stop with heaps of trips to Bunnings, Kmart, Anaconda and Ikea.
It’s getting cold now though, so we’ll try making it north along the coast quickly now, until it gets warm enough to spend time outside again.
